Sonja Livingston, author of Ghostbread

Sonja Livingston’s memoir, Ghostbread, uses a poetic approach to chronicle a childhood in western New York and won an AWP Book Award and was named a book of the year by ForeWord Magazine.  Join us for this lecture and discussion led by Ms. Livingston, currently a Visiting Professor at the University of Memphis, in the subject of child poverty in Western NYS and a first person literary view of poverty.

*Students do NOT need to sign up in Student Activities for this program.  They should just SIGN IN upon arrival in order to receive credit.

Eating Healthy on a College Budget

Eric Sandler – Health, Physical Education and Athletics

This workshop will discuss the basics of nutrition, how to eat healthy on a college budget, and nutritional strategies for losing weight.  Come loaded with the questions you want to have answered!
