Computer Maintenance – Suncay, September 18

Computer Services will be doing maintenance on the firewall this Sunday, September 18 between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM.

This will interrupt access to all services during this time.

The actual maintenance should be less than 45 minutes but it may be any time during that window.

STUDENTS: Do not start a timed test between 4:00 AM and 7:00 AM on Sunday, you may be kicked off without warning.

HEAD’S UP WARNING for MONDAY, October 10

(big type so you can’t say you didn’t see it ::grin:: )

Computer Services will be performing routine maintenance on Monday, October 10, the Columbus Day holiday. Services will be interrupted on a regularly irregular basis between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

If you gain access to any internal system (including but not limited to Genesis, Blackboard, and Library) during the day, you may be cut off without warning. Student email at www.outlook.com will not be affected.

Okay. Yes, I know. Everyone wants to work and catch up. So? Don’t let us stop you. You can still read your textbook, search through other libraries, write papers, answer homework questions offline, complete assignments in Hawkes / MyITLab / MyWriting Lab / MathXL / etc …. all of these other options will be available.

The only real thing you cannot do is take a timed test. You can even start an un-timed test and if you’re interrupted, start back working when you can get back in.

Plan ahead: print the syllabus, have your text book handy, print the assignment. You’ll be fine.

    • The day after Saturcay… 😉

It was a test to see who’s paying attention… that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
