Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

There’s good news and bad news in writing a blog for an audience at a college.

The good news is that there is a certain number of predictable topics one can write about. It’s actually a pretty long list of things, even without going out and looking for things to say. Between the hard-core academic topics (going to class, weekly reporting, grades, report cards), the financial things (financial aid, bookstore vouchers, refunds) and student activities (events, speakers) — there’s a lot going on!

The bad news is that a lot of the topics are cyclic and I’ve been doing this for long enough now that, well, I’ve said a lot of what there is to say in some shape or form at least once. I know some of you are subscribers and get this in an email, so you’ve seen the topic before. I mean, really, how many different ways can I talk about Weekly Reporting?  😉

This semester there’s also some branching out in multiple blogs (what was I thinking?) — one pretty much for faculty, one really just for faculty because it’s about our Blackboard upgrade, getting students to keep up a student blog, and the new student blog will start back up soon-ish… feeling a teeny bit blogged out.

So I don’t mean to ignore you. Really. Love that you’re there and reading any of this. But if the posts are a few more days in between than they’ve been in the past, don’t worry… I’m here!
